The Trilogy of Mommy’s Boy (1997-98) are three black box productions about a young man’s absurd existence between reality and fantasy.
He feels compelled to escape in to fantasy to live out characteristics that traditionally has been labelled as feminine. Those characteristics are not accepted in the social environment he is a part of. He thus ends up in Wonderland.
With roots in the ideas of Brecht and The Theatre of the Absurd it is explored how to reflect feelings of alienation through movement, performance and music.
